NEW RADIANT SC WIN MALDIVIAN LEAGUE TITLE

Mika Lönnström's New Radiant Sport Club have won the Maldivian Dhiraagu Dhivedi League title.
The Club Eagles secured the 2014 crown after they defeated title rivals Maziya 3-1 with two matches still left to play.
Lönnström took charge of New Radiant SC in August and made an instant impact as they quickly returned to the top of the table.
After securing the league title, the Finn showed his gratitude towards those associated with the club.
"I would like to express my sincere congratulations to my players, the club’s supporters, the management and the officials," said Lönnström.
"I would also like to thank all these people who have helped us accomplish this achievement."
Along with their two remaining league matches, New Radiant SC also have the FA Cup and Presidents Cup semifinals left to play.
"Our target is to enjoy every moment of the season," said Lönnström. "We still have matches and training sessions left. We will stay focused and enjoy this journey until the very last minute."
