December 22, 2016
Mika Lönnström will soon be back in the dugout after he agreed to take charge of STK Fluminense Samorin.
The 42-year-old will join the Slovakian First Division side before the season resumes in March following the winter break.
Lönnström's last coaching stint came in 2015 when he spent half a season at FC Maji Maji in Tanzania's Premier League before leaving in December. Since then he has dedicated his time to MnM Coaching projects worldwide.
Samorin, a partner club of Brazilian giants FC Fluminense, are currently fifth in the table with four matches left in the regular season.
Lönnström's first match in charge will be away at fellow play-off chasers Trnava B.
